Software Engineering Manager

Role Overview: A Software Engineering Manager responsible for leading product planning, technical execution, and team management for servo drive development teams. Key Duties Own software backlog priorities, release planning, and technical direction.Translate product goals into development plans, stories, and execution strategies.Collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams to maintain a cohesive product roadmap.Lead major software initiatives, including scope, architecture, and prioritization.Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to embedded software engineers, fostering team collaboration and growth.Drive disciplined execution of software projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or related field.10+ years of software development experience; 5+ years in software leadership roles.Experience with embedded software teams and product ownership.Strong skills in software architecture, cross-team coordination, and decision-making.Excellent communication, team leadership, and learning agility. Preferred Experience: Industrial automation, motion control, servo drives, firmware management, or related fields. Work Model: Hybrid schedule with onsite presence at least 3 days per week at a designated location, with flexibility for remote work up to 2 days. Compensation: Base salary range from $100,000 to $155,800, depending on experience and location.
