Software Engineering Lead

About the role

Amyx is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to join our Dept. of Defense client at Scott Air Force Base in O'Fallon, IL. This position requires the ability to support software development and Agile delivery activities.

Responsibilities

• Supports Agile ceremonies, backlog management, and documentation.
• Captures and coordinates software development support and testing activities.
• Assists with tool configuration and reporting.
• Supports the configure/operate/maintain program support tools; assists software license management; analyzes help desk tickets; supports ad hoc reporting; researches HW/SW solutions; supports testing of upgrades; coordinates with organizations to address engineering issues; supports interoperability certification/assessment processes.
• Supports Agile development management processes, including organizing ceremonies and processes; managing backlogs; gathering stakeholder feedback; updating requirements tools/workflows; supporting test/validation/verification activities.

Requirements

Must have the ability to communicate accurate information. Required Secret Clearance.

Desired Experience

• Leading multi-team Agile execution (ceremonies, backlog health, stakeholder feedback loops).
• Producing "technical artifacts" (position papers/specifications) consistent with task order expectations.

Skills

• Desertification SAFe Agilist/SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP.
