Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test safety critical flight control software
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as DO-178C
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality and reliable software solutions

Requirements

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
• Security clearance: None/Not Required

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an applicable discipline and actively enrolled through completion of the internship/co-op session
• Must have a minimum of 90 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session
• Displays experience using C and Python
• Demonstrates good communication skills (preferred)
• Works well independently (preferred)

Skills

• Programming languages: C, Python
• Embedded systems concepts
• Use of IDEs and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of DO-178C for avionics software
• Problem‑solving and debugging abilities
• Communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Pay

Salary range: 37,000 USD – 82,000 USD
