Software Engineering Intern

About the role

Your role will be the same as any full-time engineer: shipping real product changes, fixing customer bugs, and building cool new features. We're looking for a strong intern with significant engineering chops in either Python or React.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the team to ship real product changes
• Fix customer bugs and improve the user experience
• Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior in a US or Canadian university
• Must be a US or Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Strong background in either Python or React
• Experience with web development, preferably using React or similar frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
• Passionate about research and technology

Qualifications

• Exceptional academic performance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Interest in and understanding of machine learning, quantitative analysis, and data science

Skills

• Proficiency in Python or React
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of web development principles and technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
