Software Engineering Intern

About the role

DMR Technologies is a Louisiana-based drone manufacturer developing industry-leading solutions for agriculture, public safety, critical infrastructure, and defense. Responsibilities

• Work directly with company leadership to design and develop internal software that improves efficiency across the organization.
• Projects move quickly, and your work will be used by real employees and customers.
• Projects may include:
• Building features for DMR's custom internal ERP platform
• Developing web applications using JavaScript and React
• Creating internal business tools and workflow automation
• Aiding with website development and content updates
• Developing customer-facing and internal web applications
• Building and configuring AI-powered agents and chatbots using platforms such as Open Claw
• Integrating APIs and third-party software
• Aiding with light UI/UX improvements and basic graphic design
• Tracing, testing, and improving existing software solutions

Requirements

No two weeks are exactly alike, and interns are encouraged to contribute ideas and own projects from concept through deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience with JavaScript
• Familiarity with React
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Comfortable using Git or other version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies
