Software Engineer (Test Automation)

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver scalable systems for government clients.
• Collaborate with government partners and contractors to architect and deploy new systems and improvements to existing platforms.
• Ship new features efficiently while meeting user needs through agile methodologies.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex enterprise applications.
• Monitor and analyze test results, and report defects and performance issues to development teams.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices in all testing activities.
• Support production systems through an on-call rotation, investigating issues as needed.
• Participate in hiring activities, including submitting referrals, conducting interviews, and attending interview debriefs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of testing experience.
• At least 5 years of coding experience in JavaScript.
• Experience with defining and executing test plans and test cases for complex enterprise applications.
• Strong skills in tracking, reporting, and prioritizing defects using tools like Jira and GitHub.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Experience leading regression, UAT, and E2E testing.
• Familiarity with security testing and data protection best practices.
• Highly resourceful, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to meet any other requirements for government contracts for which candidates are hired.
• Work authorization that doesn’t require visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract.

$127,800—$135,900 USD
