Software Engineer (Telework Available)

About the role

The position supports the development, testing, and quality assurance of backend software systems in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and execution of test procedures for software components
• Generates technical documentation
• Works in an Agile development environment
• Uses tools like Jira and Confluence
• Ensures quality control of developed and modified software
• Experience with Git, Java, C++, or Python
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), SQL

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Experience supporting development and execution of test procedures for software components
• Experience generating technical documentation
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience ensuring quality control of developed and modified software
• Experience with the following technologies: Git, Java, C++, or Python, Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), SQL

Qualifications

Salary range for this position: $144,000 - 147,000
