Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of autonomous driving systems under adverse weather conditions.
- Design and run simulations and real-world tests to evaluate system performance under various adverse weather scenarios.
- Develop and refine algorithms or machine learning models to enforce weather-specific restricted Operational Design Domains (ODD).
- Work closely with autonomous driving systems, system engineering, and data science teams to integrate weather-related degrading profiles and optimize the overall system performance.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in machine learning, computer science, robotics, or a related field.
- Experience with sensor fusion and perception for autonomous vehicles or robotics.
- Experience or a strong interest in developing solutions for adverse weather scenarios, such as heavy rain, snow, or fog.
- Excellent communication, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferences
- Experience with autonomous vehicle technology or robotics.
- Experience in software engineering for simulation and evaluation.
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning.
