Software Engineer (SWE-2)
Job Summary
Seeking a software developer to create custom analytics to perform at scale, supporting requirements for the Joint Cyber Weapons (JCW) program for the United States Marine Corps. The software engineer will work closely with engineers and end users to support in research and development of software products designed to exploit vulnerabilities of adversary technology, develop and optimize algorithms, author scripts and develop utility software.
Job Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Work directly with Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command (MFCC), the Cyber Mission Force (CMF), as well as software engineers to solve the most demanding strategic problems; perform end-to-end software engineering to develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools and tradecraft into the customer’s corporate architecture.
- Strong development experience with multiple programming languages (C, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash/Bourne/C Shell, Rust and Assembly).
- Demonstrated experience writing, testing and refining code with the various programming languages.
- Demonstrated knowledge with various operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix, Android, and iOS).
- Experience with establishing and maintaining CI/CD mechanisms in accordance with industry best practices.
- Experience with software planning; defining project scope, goals and timelines.
Mission Focus
Candidate will have demonstrated experience writing, testing and refining code with the various programming languages. Demonstrated knowledge with various operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix, Android, and iOS). Experience with establishing and maintaining CI/CD mechanisms in accordance with industry best practices. Experience with software planning; defining project scope, goals and timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus two (2) to four (4) years of relevant software development experience.
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph to be considered for this role.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio and Git.
- Additional experience with Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Be familiar with and capable of learning various development tools, to include but not limited to Gnu Debugger (GDB), Valgrind, Low Level Debugger (LLDB), Interactive Disassembler (IDA) Pro, Ghidra, SCons.

Pay Range
$69,550.00 - $125,725.00
