Software Engineer Specialist

About the role

Supporting EOG’s economic and planning applications, the Software Engineer Specialist will work with a team of mid to senior-level software engineers on database development, new application development, and enhancing and supporting existing in-house developed applications.

The role involves collaborating with Solutions Analysts, Solutions Engineers, and end users to identify requirements, analyze them, and architect, design, and present solutions to business problems. You will also enhance and support existing in-house applications and provide high-availability monitoring and maintenance for assigned applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, IT, or Computer/Electronic Engineering
• 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, Systems Analyst, or Systems Engineer
• The required 5 years of experience must include work with C# and .NET in database or application development
