Software Engineer SME
Opportunity
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Engineer SME to support our Huntsville, AL location.
About the role
The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and support for microservices, Java, Springboot, Docker, Python, Terraform, and GitLab projects. They should also have experience with Agile methodologies and Maven.
Responsibilities
- Supports development and maintenance of software applications
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Contributes to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements
- Ensures code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Participates in code reviews and mentoring junior team members
- Provides technical guidance and support to other team members
Requirements
- Military experience preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 4 additional years of experience
- 10+ years of experience in Microservices, Java, Springboot, Docker, Python, Terraform, Gitlab
- Nice to have: Terragrunt, Agile, Maven
