Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine features that support on-demand matching, payments, and task execution within a dynamic marketplace.
- Develop scalable APIs and microservices with an emphasis on security, latency, and resilience.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define sprint scopes, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones.
- Advance testing approaches, participate in code reviews, and uphold continuous integration practices.
- Guide junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field; substantial practical experience accepted in lieu of formal degree.
- Proficiency in at least one contemporary language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js).
- Experience designing and operating scalable systems, API ecosystems, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong analytical and communication skills; adept at collaboration in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies (CI/CD, testing, code review processes).
