Software Engineer - Python / TypeScript

Position: Senior Software Engineer Python / TypeScript Employment Type: Part time Location: USA (US-approved regions) / Canada Number of Open Positions: 200 Contract Duration: 3 months Start Date: Immediate / Expected to start next week Work Arrangement: Fully Remote lucy@sidramtech.com Candidate Requirements 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Python, particularly building and maintaining pipelines and infrastructure. Alternatively, strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript / Golang. Experience contributing to or navigating large-scale codebases such as VS Code is a plus. Hands-on experience with preference data collection and/or rubric creation. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize complex technical work clearly and concisely. Strong judgment and attention to quality, with the ability to explain why an example or implementation is effective. Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and taking ownership of deliverables. Experience collaborating with researchers and engineers to translate qualitative requirements into scalable processes. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design, refine, and iterate on rubrics and evaluation criteria for preference data. Review and label data while maintaining a high bar for quality and identifying subtle issues. Build and maintain pipelines and infrastructure supporting data generation, collection, and evaluation workflows. Analyze findings and communicate them through clear write-ups, updates, and recommendations. Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to translate qualitative judgment into scalable processes. Availability Requirements Minimum 20 hours per week. At least 4 hours per day of commitment. Minimum 4 Hours Of Overlap With PST Is Required. Candidate Profile Candidates should ideally come from Tier-1 companies and/or Tier-1 universities.
