Software Engineer Project Intern (Security-Data) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Responsibilities

The Project Intern will work on Security Data products across two core areas:

• Infrastructure: including, but not limited to, the testing framework, data access layer migration, and improving developer productivity with AI.
• Business requests: contributing to core SecData product capabilities, including key modules such as asset data management and security governance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate, or Postgraduate who is currently pursuing a degree/master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other STEM disciplines.
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, C++ or similar.
• Proven experience writing comprehensive automated tests, performing effective code reviews, and debugging issues to ensure high standards of code quality and reliability.
• Experience building and optimizing high-throughput, high-availability systems, with a strong understanding of performance tuning and scalability trade-offs.
• Practical knowledge of backend security principles and best practices, including authentication, authorization, least-privilege access, and secure service-to-service.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45- $60. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
