Software Engineer Project Intern (AI Infrastructure) - 2026 Start (PhD)

About the role

The Browser Kernel and Cross Platform team focuses on building a high performance browser engine and cross platform mobile framework. This role involves making the browser engine and framework more performant, productive, and useful. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing the architecture of the cross-platform application framework, analyzing and optimizing the UI rendering performance, and improving code quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product teams to build innovative and performant cross-platform application framework.
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve the architecture of cross-platform application framework.
• Analyze and optimize the UI rendering performance, improve code quality and efficiency.
• Carry out code reviews to guarantee code quality.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in coding & scripting languages such as C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Objective-C, or Swift.
• Technical knowledge of mobile application (Android/iOS) development.
• Good team communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience in mobile development (Android/iOS apps).
• Development experience with cross platform frameworks such as Flutter.
