About the Opportunity:The SOFTWARE ENGINEER - PLATFORM SECURITY will develop advanced security solutions to protect Kubernetes-based infrastructure and enhance secure AI-driven systems. This role is critical for designing AI-powered security tools, addressing vulnerabilities proactively, and promoting secure engineering practices, thereby supporting the organization's objective of creating a trusted and secure global digital platform. Responsibilities:Design and develop AI-driven security tools and agents to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities in platform infrastructure and customer-facing applicationsIdentify security issues proactively and manage their design and implementation fullyCollaborate across teams as a security advocate and lead technical security decisions Requirements:Minimum of 3 years experience in dynamic, high-impact environments, preferably in startups or technology-focused companiesProficient in Python, Rust, or Go, with strong problem-solving and clean coding skillsPreferred certifications include CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, Security+, CASP+, or equivalentsDemonstrated experience building scalable tools or systems from the ground upSkilled in designing scalable backend architectures for secure systemsFamiliarity with security testing frameworks such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and SAST/DASTExperience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and security of containerized applicationsKnowledge of software supply chain tools, including SBOM management and dependency scanning Pay Range and Compensation Package:$100,000 - $258,000 USD base salary, part of a comprehensive total rewards package including equity and various benefits Benefits & Perks:Comprehensive medical coverageVision insuranceDental insuranceAccess to a 401(k) retirement planShort and long-term disability insurance Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
