About the Opportunity:The SOFTWARE ENGINEER - NETWORKING SOFTWARE AND SERVICES will develop advanced software, services, and frameworks to support Network Development Engineers. The role involves hands-on work managing network metrics, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and automated remediation to enhance automation for production and ancillary networks. This position contributes directly to the organization's mission by ensuring reliable and scalable network management tools that support AI-driven scientific discovery. Responsibilities:Build software and tools with extensive metrics coverage for large GPU supercomputing network fabrics used in AI training and inference.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.Enhance deployment pipelines.Ensure robust and secure service delivery across production environments. Requirements:Extensive experience collaborating with network engineers and deep knowledge of network topologies and protocols.Proven expertise in designing scalable, reliable software capable of orchestrating tens of thousands of network devices efficiently.Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and develop metrics to guide team priorities.Proficiency in Python and Go programming languages.Understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, and RDMA protocols.
