Duties

  • Design, deliver, and implement secure and scalable technology solutions in support of the firm's business objectives.
  • Architect testing platforms for shared modules.
  • Design testing strategies for low friction and automated version upgrades for shared modules.
  • Automate shared module hygiene for readme files, dependencies, and diagrams.
  • Develop automated compliance solutions.
  • Architect, deploy, and test architecture across disparate services in support of cross-platform initiatives.
  • Meet with project stakeholders to understand solution requirements.
  • Facilitate agile development processes and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Technical Lead, or related occupation.
  • The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Technical Lead, or related occupation.

Skills

  • Experience with the following:
  • Automating IaC deployments using Python and Go;
  • Improving automation of IaC deployment workflows using AI/ML technologies including generative and agent-based models;
  • Enhancing IaC deployment automation using AWS SageMaker and OpenAI GPT-3 and its derivatives;
  • Improving automated testing of Terraform modules using Python, Go, and AI/ML;
  • Enhancing and securing CI/CD workflows by integrating Jenkins with tools such as Bitbucket, JFrog, Wiz, or Sentinels;
  • Maintaining high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance for AWS solutions;
  • Implementing and maintaining code quality, testing, and maintainability in automation scripts;
  • Designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions following AWS Well-Architected framework principles;
  • Building and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, Step Functions, NLB, Route53, EFS, EBS, LightSwitch, ALB, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway;
  • Creating and maintaining reusable Terraform modules to standardize and streamline infrastructure provisioning;
  • Implementing, maintaining, and testing frameworks for Terraform IaC;
  • Validating infrastructure changes before deployment;
  • Developing automated tests for Terraform modules to verify functionality, security, and compliance;
  • Integrating Terraform testing into the CI/CD pipeline for early detection of issues;
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies.
