Software Engineer (Modeling & Simulation) Early Career

About the role

The Early Career Systems Engineer will participate in the design, development, integration, and testing of DoD products and technologies, including weapons, radars, and Command & Control systems. Responsibilities include using mathematical models and simulations to perform mission analysis, ConOps development, gap analysis, system requirements validation, and performance prediction in Ballistic Missile Defense and Anti-Air Warfare.

Responsibilities

• Use mathematical models and simulations to perform mission analysis, ConOps development, gap analysis, system requirements validation, and performance prediction in Ballistic Missile Defense and Anti-Air Warfare.
• Develop and maintain software using Java, Git, and Linux commands.
• Contribute to software design and testing processes.
• Perform system requirements validation and performance prediction.
• Collaborate on Agile projects to develop and integrate DoD products and technologies.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field with 2 years’ experience (or a Master’s with 0 years).
• Knowledge of Java, GIT, Linux commands, software design and testing.
• Strong communication skills.
