Software Engineer - Mobile Forensics

About the role

This role is focused on developing advanced digital forensics solutions for high-visibility government projects as a Mobile Forensics Software Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer mobile applications to identify forensic artifacts.
• Develop and enhance software modules using Python for processing mobile forensic data.
• Contribute to software improvements by adding features and fixing bugs.
• Create new software solutions based on technical requirements.
• Apply creativity and initiative to solve technical challenges.
• Take ownership of responsibilities to advance mission capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience with 6+ years of coding. 10+ years of experience in Python, C, C++, C#/.NET, or Java.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years in digital forensics or reverse engineering.
• Experience with mobile forensics technologies and methodologies.
• Knowledge of mobile app development platforms like Android, iOS, Flutter, or React Native.
• Familiarity with Agile development frameworks.

Security Clearance

Active/Current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph clearance.
