Software Engineer - Maps Infrastructure

This is an in-office role. Employees are expected to work primarily from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week, with flexibility for occasional remote work or adjusted schedules to accommodate personal commitments.
About the role
We are looking for a senior engineer to own and maintain our HD maps infrastructure. The role involves building the future of our maps by collaborating with engineers and customers. Responsibilities include:
- Owning our maps infrastructure across all products
- Defining our map storage format to handle more features and distribute map data, focusing on UIs, data pipelines, storage, and SDKs
- Collaborating with engineers and customers on existing and future designs and features
Requirements
- Experience building software components or (sub)systems that address real-world mapping and localization challenges
- Experience working in either autonomous vehicles or simulation products
- Working knowledge of C++ and/or Python
- 2+ years of experience within software engineering

Pay
Base salary range: $125,000 – $222,000. The actual base salary offered will be influenced by factors such as experience, credentials, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
