Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM), a 63-year-old Program with a long-standing history of Mission Success and of a strong partnership with our Navy Customer!

Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Englewood or Littleton CO and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?

The new Software Engineer will support the LE2 Program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).

You will support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability.

You will collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, electrical and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology.

Cook up with the product line manager and directorates to support needs.

To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Need

  • Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, LabView, Python, Java, TestStand
  • 3+ years of professional experience for this role

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design
  • Experience in simulation software development, software testing and validation, and software configuration management
  • Experience with Telemetry Data Processing (TDP)
  • Experience working with RF
  • Experience with multiple OS platforms such as Linux and Windows
  • Systems thinking mindset
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps processes and culture
  • Experience with Jira or other Atlassian tool sets

Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure

  • Possess strong communication, social, and problem resolution skills
