Software Engineer, Lead

About the role

The opportunity is to resolve problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. This role involves overseeing a team and identifying system improvements, using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies to help clients overcome challenging challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
• Oversee a team as they learn new tools and techniques
• Identify and implement system improvements
• Work with clients to overcome their most difficult challenges
• Ensure solutions consider current architecture and future functionality
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems

Requirements

• Experience developing software in Python
• Experience building web applications with JavaScript using React
• Experience querying and manipulating data from corporate repositories
• Experience developing on Linux-based platforms
• Ability to use Git for day-to-day development workflows
• Ability to work directly in customer spaces and solve hard problems

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience with software engineering or 16+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree

Skills

• Elasticsearch
• Docker or related technologies for service containerization
• Kubernetes deployments
• Production CNO capabilities and operations
• Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
