Software Engineer: LabVIEW Development Engineer

About the role

The LabVIEW Development Engineer is responsible for further development of Nanobiosym's current technologies, focusing on enhancements to LabVIEW HMI/GUI software, automation of current calibration routines, and maintaining and improving existing LabVIEW code bases.

Responsibilities

• Develop enhancements to LabVIEW HMI/GUI software
• Develop Automation for current calibration routines
• Develop Enhancements to calibration routines of android
• Maintain and improve existing LabVIEW code bases

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in an engineering or computer science related field
• 10+ years' experience with LabVIEW development including:
• Experience in LabVIEW legacy and refactoring
• Experience with real-time control systems
• Experience building HMIs/GUIs
• Experience in developing bidirectional cross platform communications for data and control
• Experience with remote communications such as RS-232, GPIB and USB protocols
• Experience in data curve fitting functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience editing and maintaining existing code bases
• Strong experience assembling and troubleshooting basic electrical and mechanical hardware; and electrical instrumentation (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies etc.)
• Strong experience implementing data-logging
• Strong experience in software integration role working with ISO 13485 standards
