Software Engineer, Junior

About the role

We're seeking a junior software engineer who can contribute to our mission of creating impactful solutions. You'll work in an agile environment, using the latest tools and techniques to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and implement software programming applications
• Create solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team setting
• Work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization

Requirements

• Experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Knowledge of Agile methodology

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience in Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, Azure, AWS, or Drupal
• Ability to write source code for new applications or generate and enhance code samples for existing applications

Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen's benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
