Software Engineer - Java fullstack

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Java
• Write code to build complex core components and frameworks
• Build responsive and modern frontend applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and UI technologies
• Proven track record in microservices, event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and API design (REST/GraphQL)
• Implement generative AI APIs, and leverage LLMs for business applications
• Develop and integrate APIs and web services
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers and other integrated teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Develop and integrate Python components for services, automation, or data processing
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Support application scalability, reliability, and security

Required skills and experience

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Java based technologies
• Design, develop and deploy cloud-native solutions - microservices and serverless paradigms using Spring Boot and Java
• Strong experience with Java, API and distributed applications development using Spring Boot and Microservices
• Strong frontend development experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of AI APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini etc for implementing AI use cases
• Experience with asynchronous programming and multithreading concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $68,911 - $161,544. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
