IEX is looking for a Software Engineer to join the team building and supporting the high-performance Java systems that deliver accurate, reliable equities market data from the exchange to the broader market. This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems in a fast-paced market environment. Prior market data or trading experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Core Java applications that support IEX’s market data publishing systems.
- Contribute to application frameworks, messaging APIs, data structures, reliability, and recovery mechanisms.
- Build and support distributed systems that process and publish high-volume, real-time market data.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, build and deployment processes, packaging, and dependency management.
- Partner with Product to define and develop the future state of market data publishing systems within the Equities business.
