Software Engineer, iOS

Responsibilities

• Own the entire feature lifecycle of the mobile application, from conceptualization to App Store launch.
• Maintain high coding standards through active participation in code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Implement and oversee robust testing, monitoring, and release processes to ensure a seamless and trustworthy user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve user workflows and ensure cohesive user experiences.
• Solve complex technical challenges in security and cryptography to protect personal information, account data, and voice/SMS traffic.

Requirements

• 4+ years of iOS software development experience.
• Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Swift and a strong understanding of the iOS ecosystem.
• Experience with SwiftUI is preferred, but a deep appreciation for building modern user interfaces is essential.
• Experience with Swift Concurrency (async/await) for building responsive, performant applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to iterate quickly with teammates.

Bonus points

• Familiarity with frameworks like Combine or Core Data.
• Hands-on experience with the end-to-end App Store release process.
• Knowledge of cryptography, secure enclave, or cellular technologies (eSIM, 4G, 5G).
