The Opportunity This position is for individuals interested in a broad area of Software Engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience working in a teamwork environment and have not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams. The single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment your academic experience. Familiarity with hardware or software tools should be appropriate for your academic level.

Responsibilities

• Coding and Development: Build small features, fix bugs, and update internal tools or applications under mentor guidance.
• Testing and Debugging: Run tests, review logs, and find root causes of software issues to ensure reliability.
• Code Maintenance: Document features, write clean code, and participate in peer code reviews.
• Team Collaboration: Attend Agile ceremonies (like stand-ups or sprint planning) and work with product managers or other engineers.
• Research and Learning: Explore new technologies, APIs, or cloud services required for team projects.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently enrolled as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Signal Processing, Physics, Math, Computer Science, or a related degree.
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Familiarity with hardware or software tools should be at a level appropriate for your academic level.
• Experience with:
  • Java programming of JEE or servlet-based applications
  • JavaScript development
  • C/C++ development
  • Linux/Unix operating systems
• Desired: Experience working in a team environment, inquisitive nature, strong desire to learn.

Pay

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is $43,900 - 87,900 USD.

Schedule

The internship will begin in May and last 10-12 weeks, this position will be hybrid with the expectation you will be in-person at least 3 days a week. Part-time.
