Software Engineer Intern - Enterprise Systems (Fall 2026)

About the role

Astranis is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join the Enterprise Systems team. This team builds software and analytics tools to enable the end-to-end engineering required to take a satellite design into space.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our engineering team to design, build, and test software that Astranis teams rely on every day to design, test, and manufacture the hardware that powers our satellites.
• Help develop and maintain internal applications that support test operations, scheduling, and production tracking across manufacturing.
• Support internal tools used directly by hardware design and supply chain teams to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Build automated workflows using orchestration tools to reduce manual work across teams.
• Contribute to our data warehouse infrastructure, data ingestion pipelines, and BI tooling to power business analytics and AI workflows.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
• Experience with Python.
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, write, and test software from scratch.

Bonus

• Experience with devops/internal tools.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.

Schedule

Internships at Astranis typically last for twelve weeks, and are hourly roles designed for students who are currently enrolled at a four-year university.
