Software Engineer In Test (SDET)

We are looking for Software Engineer In Test. As a SDET you will be applying your strong software development and test automation skills to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software solutions. You will also be enabling your team in accepting test automation frameworks and standard methodologies to ensure we are building the right product the right way. Key ResponsibilitiesWork with product owner, squad lead and architecture as required to influence technical improvements to the platformExperience with test automation frameworksExperience with handling large data, data analysisProficient in Java, Python, Spring, and RESTful servicesExperience in delivering software in the Agile environmentExperience with CI/CD pipelines a plusExperience working in the financial Industry is a plusExperience working in the KDB is a plusExpert level knowledge of SQL, system design, data structures, and algorithmsExperience with a modern UI framework such as React, Angular or Vue is a plusYou thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high risks and high rewardsExperience AWS, CI/CD, ES6, React or SASS is a plusCollaborating and coordinating with other squads and chaptersDevelop a keen understanding of the business domain you are working on and actively participate in discussions with business partners and other external partiesDeliver high quality, timely, well tested, cost effective and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirementsActively work towards engineering practices such as code, design and test reviews, cloud strategy, and build and deployment pipelines The Expertise and Skills You HaveAt least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalentMinimum 5 years of development experienceProficient in Java, Serenity Cucumber, Playwright automationJira and Jira Align experience requiredExperience working in an Agile/Kanban squadHaving excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given timeThrive in a team environment, collaborating openly and actively help with work being completedAbility to act independently under general directionShould be a team playerShould be able to handle millions of data and analyze it efficiently Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
