Software Engineer III - Platform Services

Responsibilities

• Build and extend platform services for federated identity, authentication, and authorization
• Implement integrations with centralized identity platform including token handling and session management
• Support product teams through integration processes and navigate multi-tenant identity behaviors
• Design and implement backend service integrations using REST APIs and event-driven patterns in Python
• Contribute to AI development harnesses to enhance team delivery speed and reduce manual effort
• Ensure observability in services through structured logging, metrics, and alerting
• Participate in design discussions and provide mentorship to junior engineers

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience with independent feature delivery in production
• Hands-on experience developing backend services in.NET or Python
• Experience implementing or integrating federated identity systems (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT)
• Practical understanding of authorization frameworks and policy integration
• Proficient with development tools including Git, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker)
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools as part of everyday workflow

Pay

$100,000 – $130,000 annually
