Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree in an industry setting
• Experience in Generative AI (e.g., large language models, multi-modal, large vision models)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Experience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering
• Expertise or strong interest in:
  • Performance debugging and optimization of complex workloads
  • Design of performance tools
  • Compiler design and code optimization
  • High-performance software development techniques
  • Concurrent programming
  • Multi-core computer architectures

Pay

Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and education. US-based compensation includes:

• $147,000 – $210,000 (USD) base salary
• 15% bonus target

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code
• Lead or participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide among available technologies
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style, accuracy, testability, efficiency)
• Contribute to documentation or educational content and adapt it based on updates and user feedback
• Triage product or system issues, debug/track/resolve them, and analyze their impact on hardware, network, or service operations
