Software Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Works as part of a larger Agile software development team to rapidly provide operational capabilities to the field
• Develops software that is heavily used by US Special Operations Forces (SOF) with a high demand for additional features
• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
• Defines software/and or system architecture, design software modules, and produce associated documentation per corporate or customer standards
• Ensures software standards are met
• Writes and tests software modules and integrate with other software and/or hardware components

Qualifications

• You Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C# programming languages.
• Advanced knowledge of the Android Platform and SDK (Software Development Kit).
• Experience designing and developing software.
• Experience in project definition.
• Ability to rapidly work with minimal supervision on projects involving both small and large teams.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• We Prefer:
• Integration experience with the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem.
• Development experience specifically in the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) Android Infrastructure app.
• Development experience in Javascript, Typescript with Frameworks like REACT.
• Experience in C# ASP.NET Core.
• Experience in Scala, Python, Go, and C++.
