Software Engineer III
About the role
This is a replacement position for an existing contractor on the Fraud Gateway team. This position is critical to providing on-call, development, subject-matter and technical support for Fraud Gateway service during US daytime hours. Current Fraud Gateway team is completely located in IDC, rendering us without subject matter expertise during US daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the customer and the company.
- Collaborate with team members to develop best practices and requirements for the software.
- Professionally maintain all codes and create updates regularly to address the customer’s and company’s concerns.
- Analyse and test programs/products before formal launch to ensure flawless performance.
- Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to grow skills in a high-pace, high-impact environment.
- Ensure software security by developing programs that keep the systems secured.
- Improve the software and its effectiveness.
- Adhere to Company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
- Hands-on experience in building web based Java EE services/applications and Kafka, RESTful Web-Services, Spring, Hibernate, Splunk, Caching.
- Large scale distributed services experience, including scalability and fault tolerance.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, such as Open Stack, Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Experience in systems design and distributed systems.
- Exposure to SQL/NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, Elastic, Mongo etc.
Qualifications

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 in Bentonville, Arkansas US-09930 and $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 in Sunnyvale, California US-11789. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
