About the role

The Software Engineer III position focuses on AI/ML solutions within the AI/ML Foundations team at Google. This team is responsible for building foundational engineering excellence and prototyping internal-facing AI/ML products. The role involves collaborating with various teams to apply AI/ML techniques to significant business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields is preferred.
• 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models and algorithms.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in software development, such as Python, Java, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AI/ML solutions to business problems.
• Collaborate with partner teams and business stakeholders to educate them and support their use of AI/ML.
• Create templates and tools to support adoption of emerging technologies.
• Identify opportunities to build shared solutions to common problems.

Pay

$147,000 - $210,000 per year
