About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX (hybrid role, not 100% remote; locals only). This role focuses on system integration and API development, contributing to cutting-edge advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Supply Chain Planning technologies.

Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze business requirements and assist in design for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain relevant product modules, demonstrating ownership and deep product understanding.
- Build and maintain existing React-based applications with best-in-class user experience.
- Design and develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato), and middleware.
- Ensure seamless connectivity between enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, ERPs) and internal systems.
- Map data between different formats (JSON, XML, CSV, EDI) to ensure consistency and integrity across systems.
- Perform root cause analysis on integration failures and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Develop automated integration tests and build scripts (Python, Bash) to accelerate the deployment process.
- Document technical integration specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, DevOps) to align integration requirements.
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on system integration or API development.
- Proficiency in backend Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Strong hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Proficient in SQL and database integration patterns.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum development methodologies.

Pay
The salary range reflects the anticipated base salary based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications, or other relevant factors. This role is also eligible for participation in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, depending on the position.
