About the role
Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking an exceptional Engineer to join our Strategic Solutions team. This role supports the development of mission-critical solutions for NC3 defense systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a high-performance software team to create mission-critical software.
- Support requirements decomposition and derivation to produce Software Requirements.
- Participate in the design of capabilities using UML and SysML diagrams.
- Develop and deliver high-quality mission-critical software.
- Contribute to code and related artifacts peer reviews.
- Create and execute test cases and tests.
Qualifications
- Good foundation in Object-Oriented Programming and Java.
- Professional experience with Open Mission Systems standards.
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Knowledge in UML, SysML, MBSE, and CAMEO modeling tools.
- Experience in requirements analysis, decomposition, and derivation.
- Understanding of virtualization concepts.
- Knowledge of microservices, containers, and orchestration technologies.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Pay
The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $131,100 annually.
