Software Engineer II (Onsite)

About the role

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking an exceptional Engineer to join our Strategic Solutions team. This role supports the development of mission-critical solutions for NC3 defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a high-performance software team to create mission-critical software.
• Support requirements decomposition and derivation to produce Software Requirements.
• Participate in the design of capabilities using UML and SysML diagrams.
• Develop and deliver high-quality mission-critical software.
• Contribute to code and related artifacts peer reviews.
• Create and execute test cases and tests.

Qualifications

• Good foundation in Object-Oriented Programming and Java.
• Professional experience with Open Mission Systems standards.
• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Knowledge in UML, SysML, MBSE, and CAMEO modeling tools.
• Experience in requirements analysis, decomposition, and derivation.
• Understanding of virtualization concepts.
• Knowledge of microservices, containers, and orchestration technologies.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $131,100 annually.
