Software Engineer II, MLA Automation & Deployments

About the role

The Release and Automation Software Team at Annapurna Labs is seeking engineers who are passionate about improving the release and operations of our Machine Learning servers. We are part of the largest and most comprehensive cloud provider in the world.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Machine Learning Acceleration (MLA) platforms and design and build CI/CD and other automation to improve customer experience and system quality.
• Work with Machine Learning Software and Hardware Teams to address challenges and enhance efficiency and quality of releases and operations.
• Develop software that can be maintained, improved, documented, tested, and reused.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with AWS Step Functions, Databases (DynamoDB, Timestream, etc.), Lambdas, CDK, Cloud Formation, EC2.
• Experience releasing software at scale with CI/CD.

Skills

Preferred qualifications include:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 annually.
