Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate hardware, software, and network components into cohesive system solutions.
  • Participate in system verification, validation, and testing activities to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems or software engineering, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes including requirements management, system design, integration, and testing.
  • Proficiency with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, MATLAB, or similar platforms, and familiarity with modeling and simulation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with experience in developing scalable and maintainable software solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team at Honeywell. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and integrating complex aerospace systems that enhance safety, efficiency, and performance. Your contributions will significantly impact the successful delivery of aerospace projects, ensuring that all systems meet customer and regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and will be based in Phoenix, AZ, working on a hybrid schedule.
