Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and maintain front-end user interfaces and desktop applications.
- Implement intuitive, responsive UI designs based on customer feedback and team guidelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code utilizing modern frameworks.
- Support backend engineering team members to ensure seamless integration and overall system performance.
- Participate in customer-facing discussions, requirement gathering sessions, and product demonstrations alongside team peers.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering and application development experience.
- Required Skills: Proven track record in building and maintaining desktop applications. Strong proficiency in designing interactive, data-driven front-end user interfaces. Deep technical expertise in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Java. Strong interpersonal skills with experience interfacing directly with customers or stakeholders. Ability to work in a hybrid/on-site capacity out of the Middletown, RI facility.
