Software Engineer II

Opportunity

We are looking for Software Engineers to join engineering at Root. In this role, you will work closely with peers on a team within a product domain. You’ll play a key role in solving customer and business problems in collaboration with your teammates.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• 2+ years as a software engineer
• An eagerness to work closely with your team in a collaborative environment
• Curiosity in clearly defining the customer problem that needs to be solved
• Excellent communication skills with engineering colleagues

Salary Range

Salary Range: $126,300 - $145,000 (Eligible for Competitive Bonus & Equity Offering)

• Collaborate closely with supportive teammates to share and improve your work

• Increase the effectiveness of your team by suggesting code and process improvements

• If You Have Experience with Agentic Development Tools

• If You Have Experience with the Apryse Document SDK
• If You Have Experience in observability, such as Datadog
• If You Have Experience modifying, maintaining, and consuming from APIs
• If You Have Experience with AWS
