Software Engineer II

About the role

This is a seat where your code, your judgment, and your AI fluency directly shape what customers experience. You will deliver features end-to-end with predictability and quality, apply AI to optimize coding, testing, and monitoring, and own subsystems of moderate complexity.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own features end-to-end, from technical design through production
• Apply AI for optimization, debugging, feasibility checks, and regression coverage
• Contribute meaningfully to technical designs before code gets written
• Understand and optimize subsystems of moderate complexity
• Use AI-driven monitoring and anomaly detection to catch problems before customers do
• Mentor new hires and junior engineers
• Collaborate across team boundaries rather than staying in your lane
• Set the standard for engineering quality and responsible AI use
• Improve testing, monitoring, and delivery practices with AI-enhanced automation
• Balance speed and quality — ship often, ship safely
• Shape design and implementation choices at the team level
• Share what you learn about AI-assisted development across teams
• Make and defend thoughtful trade-offs, not just deliver what's asked
