Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Partner and collaborate with the program leaders to ensure program objectives are achieved.
• Developing your technical and professional skills.
• Serving as a technical resource to the program, supporting the technical design, development, integration and release of our BAE Systems Software.
• Working closely with product line engineering to ensure alignment and understanding of the required capabilities and functions.
• Responsible for implementation of Software Solutions Strategy and processes.
• Develop and maintain the SW test solutions to improve product testability while increasing yield throughout the test process.
• Integrate software solutions to validate and tune products, provide training to technicians in the art of troubleshooting and work to optimize throughput.

Requirements

• Must have at least an active Secret level clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in CS (Computer Science), CE (Computer Engineering) with at least 2 years of professional SW development experience, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years or comparable test engineering related experience preferred.
• Experience developing Electronic Warfare systems.
• Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle and Software languages such as C++, C# and Python.
• Experienced in Real Time Operating Systems such as RedHat and/or RTLinux.
• Experienced in Hands on integration testing of electronic systems.

Preferred

• A continuous improvement mindset to enhance Software development through process modernization.
• Proven performance in software design and development.
• Experience Developing and Integrating Software.
• Experience with TestStand, LabView, or other test software tools.
• Experience with the entire product life cycle development: Requirements review, test plan creation, coding, and integration of test SW with test stands.
• Experience with SW version control and bug tracking tools.

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $86580 - $147186

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
