About the role
The Machine Learning Server Software Team at Annapurna Labs is seeking candidates with a passion for developing data-driven software for our advanced machine learning acceleration servers. Our team works closely with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and rapid deployment of software.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software (C, C++, Python, Lua) for server components and integration into EC2.
- Collaborate with the MLA Hardware, Test, and Manufacturing teams to create a coordinated software package for qualification and rapid deployment.
- Build systems software to initialize custom accelerator chips and monitor peripherals using various interfaces like I2C, SPI, PCIe.
- Focus on data paths, PCIe, and accelerator inner workings to optimize system performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Lua.
- Experience with software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Knowledge of system software development, particularly for machine learning acceleration servers.
- Experience with hardware initialization and peripheral monitoring.

Pay
Base salary range: $165,200.00 - $223,600.00 USD annually
