About the role

This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, deploying, supporting, and testing software for the platform. You will design and develop software, troubleshoot and fix bugs in development, test, and production environments, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and automate internal processes. The role includes supporting system, network, and game installations (onsite and remote), generating procedures and documentation, and working with customers to maintain day-to-day casino operations. Flexibility to carry out projects and tasks with moderate supervision while adhering to department and company policies is required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Participates in the design of software systems.
  • Writes software features and documentation, reviews code, and follows test procedures.
  • Provides operations support including deployment of software, server setup, and responding to service interruptions (onsite at customer locations or remotely).
  • Develops software tools and integrations to support game/platform development.
  • Collaborates with teams of engineers, mathematicians, designers, artists, and others to ensure product quality and market criteria.
  • Reports discrepancies or problems requiring resolution to management.
  • Provides documentation to support releases.
  • Complies with the company’s regulatory guidelines and corporate policies.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding the company, products, and employee information.
  • Uses AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity in coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and knowledge acquisition. Validates AI-generated recommendations and exercises independent technical judgment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (or higher) in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proficient in C, C++, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with C#/.NET and experience in the gaming industry are a plus.
  • Intermediate or advanced understanding and usage of Microsoft Office products.
  • Professional and efficient communication (verbal and written) with all levels of the business.
  • Ability to obtain and retain gaming licensure.

Additional Requirements

  • Occasional travel (10%) to customer sites, installs, or other locations as needed.
  • Full-time position (40+ hours per week) with flexibility for overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a cubicle with limited space for extended periods, including repetitive motion using keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
  • Comfort working in high-stress, fast-paced environments and handling directives, assessing situations, and completing tasks.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and write in English.
  • May be required to attend trips to casinos, trade shows, or other locations with varying noise, temperature, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including exposure to secondhand smoke.
