Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for defense and aerospace systems.
- Work with teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
What You Will Learn
- Advanced software technologies and multi-tiered architectures.
- Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) techniques.
- Software lifecycle practices specific to defense projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Scrum at Scale, SAFe, DevSecOps).
- Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
- Experience with software development, test, or integration using C, C++, Python, Ada, or similar languages.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
- Experience contributing to team-based development of creative solutions to complex technical problems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration/development environments.
- Knowledge of Red Hat and Linux operating systems.
- Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
- Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, JUnit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of common software application development skills.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $57,200 – $108,800 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels and considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
