Software Engineer (I)
Job Summary
As a Software Engineer, you make direct technical contributions. You execute on assigned software engineering tasks with some guidance, feedback and support from your manager, tech drive, or other senior team members. The problems you solve have generally had most important assumptions stated and clarified already, and you exercise judgment in determining an appropriate approach from clear options and existing tools.

Responsibilities
- Set up or improve test/monitoring/survey infrastructure or processes.
- Consider code health and system maintainability and scalability over time.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Write product or system development code for sub-tasks with some guidance.
- Conduct testing on code, design code to allow for easy testing, and write test case descriptions.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Pay off tech debt typically identified, scoped, and prioritized by others.
