Software Engineer I

About the role

Under the leadership of the Software Engineering Director and in collaboration with the Global Software Development team, the Software Engineer I is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software that operates within embedded systems with the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code for front-end, back-end, or mobile features based on defined specifications.
• Identify, reproduce, and fix software defects; build automated tests to evaluate performance.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and senior engineers within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, flowcharts, and code comments to assist future development.
• Rapidly adapt to new programming languages, cloud networks, and development operations (DevOps) tools.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional engineering experience in hardware product design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with C, C++, and C# programming languages.
• Basic understanding of code versioning (e.g., Git) and repositories.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, written/verbal communication, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) for real-time control.
• Strong foundational knowledge of embedded programming.
