Software Engineer I - Aero

Responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement while delivering programs on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Exhibit excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions in accordance with project specifications.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of software projects within scope and budget.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering.
• Able to code in multiple languages.

Qualifications

• You MUST have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Assembly.
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.
• Able to manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another related field.
• Familiarity with RF communications.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with signal processing, test, and embedded software experience.
• Familiarity with various application areas supporting Avionics functions, Navigation and Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT).
• Experience working with Defense Customers preferred.
